Planning
Safetyfirst carries out planning and technical drawing (DAK) of photoluminescent systems and tactile safety way guidance systems (universal design). Planning is carried out according to rules and regulations, standards, and concepts for the individual object. This applies both on land and at sea.
Installation and Fitting
Together with our team of fitters, we can carry out installation of all our systems. Our fitters hold extensive experience in installing our products. Together with our fitters, we seek to find the most rational progression towards the project, with the goal always being to achieve the upmost final product and installation, both aesthetically and technically.
Check-Up, Luminance Measuring, and Service Agreement
All photoluminescent systems are subject to periodical check-ups. This applies to both land-based and maritime systems.
Land-based check-ups are conducted by authorized personnel according to NS:3926 every 3 years.
Maritime check-ups are conducted by authorized personnel according to IMO-resolution A.752(18) and ISO 15370 every 5 years.
Safetyfirst can conduct check-ups on both land-based and maritime objects. The check-up is carried out on-site according to standardized procedures. As part of the check-up, a record of measurement and a check-up report is issued. Upon approved installation, a certificate from Safetyfirst confirming the check-up and approval of the object is issued.
We also offer service agreements for scheduling of check-ups. We will then conduct a complete review of the system and provide advice on necessary improvements. This review will be a vital part of the HSE/KS system.
For land-based objects, an agreement regarding luminance check-up of the installation shall be made available, cf. NS:3926:2010.

Courses and Seminars
Throughout the year, Safetyfirst hosts several mini-seminars and presentations regarding rules and installation samples for photoluminescent escape route marking and universal design (tactile marking). Through mini-seminars and presentations, we aim for increased know-how and understanding within our customer base, clients, and advisors.

Contrast Measurement, On-Site and Contrast Calculation
As part of the contrast calculations, we carry out contrast measurement on-site. Safteyfirst is equipped to carry out the measuring and calculating of contrasts, to ensure that the installation meets the contrast standards.
